Founded in 1999 by Kumu Hula Paddy Kauhane, Hālau Hula KaʻUhane O Ka Pākīpika (Kauhane School of Polynesian Dance - KSPD) is an authentic hālau (hula school) based in Maple Ridge, BC. The main focus of the school is Hawaiian dancing, with specialty lessons offered for Tahitian and Maori.

Hālau KaʻUhane is governed by The Spirit of the Pacific Cultural Society. A Canadian Non-Profit Organization with a goal to perpetuate, promote and preserve the unique traditions and cultural heritage of the Hula, and other Polynesian dances.
